Cervicofacial Actinomycosis in Children

Abstract: Actinomycosis is caused by Actinomyces spp., which are Gram-positive, non-acidfast, pleomorphic, non-spore-forming rods. They require anaerobic or microaerophilic environments for growth, and demonstrate branching, often appearing as beaded filaments [5,6].
