Abstract:Cassava is an important food security and industrial crop. Its production is constrained by viral diseases such as cassava mosaic disease (CMD) and cassava brown streak disease (CBSD), caused by cassava mosaic begomoviruses (CMBs) and ipomoviruses, respectively.
