Background: Research on exercise and health promotion has grown significantly, indicating an increasing interest in physical fitness and healthy living among people. Purpose: This study aimed to to provide a comprehensive overview of research on health and sports promotion, identify the field, identify prominent papers and academics, and use keyword analysis to determine the thematic focus. This research hoped to contribute to understanding the emerging dynamics in this interdisciplinary sector. Methods: Bibliometric methods analyse data sets that include publication trends, author information, countries, and newly discovered keywords. This analysis used VOSviewer bibliometric analysis software. The data analysed was 1,850 documents. Results: The results showed a steady increase in publications on sports, physical exercise, and health promotion issues. The reputable publications are those in the “International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health” and “BMC Public Health”. Key phrases, such as “physical activity” and “health promotion” dominate the themes, with the United States and the United Kingdom emerging as important contributors. Conclusion: This study highlighted notable researchers, important sources, and concentrations of subjects in health and exercised promotion research, which underscored its dynamic nature. The knowledge gathered from this bibliometric research contributed to a more complex understanding of this interdisciplinary field’s changing goals and trends. Implications: Thematic concentration and identifying important articles can inspire evidence-based strategies for global health and physical activity promotion, international collaboration, and future research orientation.

Managing the Production Processes - Optimization of the Technological Process of Banana Ripening by Applying the Simple Additive Weighting Method

The realization of company goals is greatly influenced by the manager’s decisions in the activities of managing production processes. To make decisions, managers use different decision-making methods, taking into account different criteria on the basis of which they choose the best alternative. The paper presents the optimization of the technological process of banana ripening using the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. The research monitored temperature correction, ripening gas dosage concentration, duration of treatment, commodity loss, including correction of accompanying factors of green banana fruit ripening. By applying the SAW method on 400 performed ripenings in the period from 2017 to 2020, the best results were achieved at a temperature of 18.5 °C, with an ethylene concentration of 840 ppm, process time of 112 h and achieved kalo of 233 kg. The total cost of ripening based on the examined parameters is 250.12 € which can save 81.42 € and meet the finishing standards.

Massage has long been used as a means of resolving painful conditions, relaxation as well as for aesthetic purposes. In the city of Kragujevac, in the last 10 years, there has been a greater interest in this type of service, and the offer in the city is quite large and diverse. Regardless of that, it is necessary to promote this type of service even better and bring the efficiency of action closer to certain groups of women, both in preventive use and as a choice for adequate treatment of painful conditions. The subject of the research is to analyze the interest of the female population in the city of Kragujevac for massages. The aim of the research is to point out the state of interest in massage among women in Kragujevac, as well as which groups should be further promoted and brought closer to these services. The survey was used as a form of research, and the questions were related to expressing attitudes about massage, personal data, o massage habits and for what purposes. The results obtained from the research that certain groups of the female population do not have a developed culture for massage, as well as that income is not so crucial. It was determined that the respondents responded well to the use of services.
