Changes in the Laryngeal Mucosa After Thyroid Surgery: A Rat Model

Abstract: Background/Aim: Thyroidectomy can cause various airway symptoms affecting the quality of life. We investigated the changes in extracellular matrix (ECM) composition and markers for inflammation and microcirculation of laryngeal mucosa.
