Changes in the Mucus Barrier during Cisplatin-Induced Intestinal Mucositis in Rats

Abstract: Aim. Gastrointestinal mucositis is a frequent complication of antineoplastic chemotherapy, but the effects of chemotherapy on mucosal defense mechanisms remain poorly understood.
