“…Impairment of visual memory has been reported in a number of groups including individuals with Parkinson's disease (Netherton, Elias, & Albrecht, 1989), right hemisphere lesions (Milner, 1971) and very mild dementia (Robinson-Whelen, 1992), as well as normal elderly (Haaland, Linn, Hunt, & Goodwin, 1983). As many of these individuals may have upper extremity motor difficulty (hemiplegia, tremor, or arthritis), a nonmotor visual memory test such as the multiple-choice VRT would be a desirable addition to the neuropsychologist's armamentarium.…”
