Abstract:ObjectivesSome single-center studies have reported that methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) carrying the staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec (SCCmec) type IV has been increasing in bloodstream infections (BSIs) in Japan.
