Channel reconfiguration management of SDH-based leased circuit network

Abstract

This paper discusses the object-oriented network management of leased circuit networks with dynamic channel reconfiguration function. lt proposes a network configuration employing Synchronous Digital Hierarchy. The configuration achieves flexible transmission in the path and section layers of a leased circuit network, resulting in greater simplicity and economy than current procedures. This paper gives details of requirements and parameters for channel management, and proposes a new system of channel connection units and their concatenators.
