Abstract:Engineered geopolymer composites (EGC) recently emerged as a promising alternative to resolve traditional concrete's CO 2 emission and brittleness. It features a cementless-based solution and possesses pseudo-strain-hardening (PSH) behaviour with high tensile ductility. There are two main obstacles associated with the use of geopolymer: firstly, the handling of user-hostile alkaline solutions and secondly, the necessity of heat curing. This paper aims to summarize the findings on the development and characteri… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
