Characteristic and Adsorption Desulfurization Performance of Ag–Ce Bimetal Ion-Exchanged Y Zeolite

Abstract: AgY, CeY, and AgCeY zeolites were successfully prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), thermogravimetry−differential thermogravimetry (TG-DTG), and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The adsorptive desulfurization properties of the adsorbents were evaluated in a fixed-bed unit through different types of model gasoline. The results showed that the AgCeY zeolite has a high desulfurization capacity, similar to that of AgY, and the adsorption aff… Show more

“…Fig. 4 shows the 65 morphologies of the fabricated spherical PANI/SiO 2 nanoparticles with a PANI core and a shell of silica particles with a mean diameter of approximately 200 nm, clearly showing that the much smaller silica nanoparticles were absorbed on the surface of the PANI nanoparticles, resulting in core-shell 70 structures, and confirming the ability of the colloidal silica particles to form an emulsion in a Pickering emulsion system. When the ER fluid was prepared by dispersing Pickering emulsion-polymerized PANI/SiO 2 particles in silicone oil with a particle concentration of 10 wt%, the flow curve of shear stress at 75 various electric field strengths was analyzed using a controlled shear rate mode, as shown in Fig.…”

“…During Pickering emulsion polymerization, GO was used as a stabilizer and dispersed on the surface of the PS droplets. When 70 the GO was adsorbed onto the styrene monomer droplets, polymerization was started immediately by adding the initiator, azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN), as shown in Scheme 1. The fabrication of the PS/GO nanocomposites was confirmed by both SEM and TEM images.…”
