“…When compared with radiograph utilization rates derived from chiropractic clinic records in the United States (6%-68%) 16,19 and Canadian college clinics (12.3%-34%), 22,23 our resultant 8% total utilization was low. Underutilization was demonstrated in a previous study of Canadian chiropractic student interns who, when given clinical scenarios, did not opt to take radiographs in spite of red flags.…”
