Abstract:Objectives. Reconstructive surgery to correct a congenital cleft palate is called uranoplasty. In the early postoperative period after uranoplasty, surgeons often encounter several problems: suture dehiscence, inflammation of the wound edges and the addition of a secondary infection to the wound process.
