Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to study the business model and nature of women-owned firms in Vietnam today.   Methodology:This article explores the characteristics of women-owned household businesses using secondary documentary data. The paper is based on a feminist approach to the Cedaw convention, to which Vietnam is a party.
