Abstract:The Lamongan Volcano Complex has a very different character from the Bromo and Argopuro Volcano groups. Lamongan Volcano has 37 volcanic cones and 27 maars (ranu). This volcano is quarter-old and occupies part of East Java Province. Maar Bethok is composed of lava and intercalation between pyroclastic deposits from phreatomagmatic and magmatic falls that still need to be firmly consolidated.
