Characteristics of Rainfall in Peninsular Malaysia

Abstract: This study presents the rainfall statistics, conditional probability structure and statistical dependence of rainfall amount of several gauging stations located around Peninsular Malaysia, namely Subang, Senai and Kota Bharu. Daily rainfall measurements for all stations were collected from the Department of Meteorology, Malaysia are long and reliable, with at least 40 years of data.
