Characteristics of Soil Erodibility in the Yinna Mountainous Area, Eastern Guangdong Province, China

Abstract: Soil erodibility research is of theoretical and practical significance to the prediction and prevention of regional soil erosion. At present, the study on soil erodibility in the lateritic red soil area of eastern Guangdong province is relatively lacking. Taking the forest land soil of the Yinna mountainous area as the research object, the physical and chemical properties (organic matter mass fraction, texture, moisture, bulk density, pH, aggregate content) of soil samples at different altitudes were measured … Show more

“…The K value of soil erodibility is closely related to aggregates, and rainfall erosion further affects the potential erodibility of soil and the final soil erosion process (Zhu et al, 2022). The Pearson correlation analysis was performed on the soil erodibility, aggregate size and SOC, as shown in Table 3.…”

“…The soil samples of 0-20 cm for the soil layer were auger boring with soil, repeated three times, and the soil mass water content was determined using the drying method. The aluminum box with soil samples was placed in a 105 • C oven drying oven at a constant weight, and according to the following formula, calculated the soil mass water content [37].…”
