“…It was thus concluded that NaClO 2 treatments destroyed a portion of crystalline region and inter-and/or intramolecular hydrogen bonding. It should be note that B0, B101.5, B101.5s are cellulose I, and B201.5, B2010, B201.5s, B2010s are cellulose I and II mixtures (Yue et al, 2015). The crystallinity index for cellulose mixtures cannot be directly investigated by XRD and 13 C NMR.…”

“…The intensity of band (k) at 890 cm -1 is very sensitive to the degree of crystallinity of cellulose, which is related to changes in angles around b-1,4-glycosidic linkages and possible reorganization of hydrogen bonds in cellulose (Proniewicz et al 2001). Crystallinity of used fillers was evaluated using total crystallinity index (TCI 1371/2900 cm ) based on the absorption ratios proposed in works (Kljun et al 2011;Yue et al 2015). Above mentioned parameters, presented in Table 2, are strictly related to degree of crystallinity and status of the intermolecular regularity.…”

“…During calculation the intensity height for amorphous phase is taken 18°, based on the methodology described in work (Yue et al 2015). Crystallinity index values are calculated from the original XRD data.…”

“…Usually, SB is used as a source of heat and electricity in sugar producing mills. With the development of lignocellulosic biomass utilization technologies, SB was also applied in the preparation of oriented strand board as well as the feedstock for the isolation of cellulosic fibers [6,7,8]. Recently, many previous studies have explored the potential of liquefaction sugarcane bagasse using traditional heating sources with long liquefaction times and low energy efficiency [9,10,11,12,13].…”
