Characterization of low AC loss elementary and assembled BSCCO conductors

Abstract: A European consortium has progressed towards elementary and assembled conductors viable for AC applications in the project ACropolis. The main goal was to achieve low AC losses and high critical current densities in tapes developed for AC coils, transformers and cables.
