Characterization of <i>Enterococcus</i> species isolated from abattoir environment in Benin city, Nigeria

Abstract: Enterococci are primarily inhabitants of the intestinal mucosa of animals and humans; however, they can also be recovered from water, soil, plants, insects and fermented food products.
