Characterization of Self-Reported Pollen Food Syndrome (PFS) in Birch Allergic Subjects Exposed to Birch Pollen in an Environmental Exposure Chamber (EEC) in Canada
Abstract:Allergen-specific immunotherapy (IT) induces tolerance in food allergy. Immunological changes during IT have been investigated, however little work has looked at global gene-expression changes. We have developed a tolerance-model of peach allergy using a novel system of sublingual IT (SLIT) based on glycodendropeptides. We analysed changes in dendritic cells (DCs) from mice receiving SLIT. METHODS: RNA-Seq was used to profile transcriptional changes in lymph node DCs for mice from two groups: anaphylactic mice… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
