Characterization of Si particles and their effects on and recrystallization in a nanostructured cold rolled Al-1% Si alloy

Abstract: Abstract. An Al-1.08 vol.%Si alloy was cold rolled to a reduction of 98% (vM = 4.5) and then annealed at different temperatures up to 210C (0.52 Tm) for different times. The deformed structure is characterized by a nanoscale lamellar structure with the presence of Si particles of coarse (> 1m), medium (100 nm -1 m) and fine (< 100 nm) sizes in the microstructure. Deformation zones are formed around the coarse Si particles and the boundary spacing is finer in the deformation zone than in the matrix. The med… Show more

“…Prioritizing the core demands of the network, deploying software into network devices for them to be compatible with software defined approaches, validation of the results for the SDN implementations if they are really helping to solve the network issues and business difficulties are useful for SDN migration [50]. Examines the effectiveness of SDN in various topologies and connection failure scenarios [51]. The complexity, flexibility, and possible functionality and capabilities of two SDN architectures-OpenFlow and ProGFE were examined in [52].…”

“…Introducing dispersion fine particles can facilitate the generation of nanostructured metals by high strain deformation even in the case when the matrix is of ultrahigh purity [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]. Another way to stabilize nanostructured metals is to use alloying elements that may form boundary segregation or precipitates in the nanostructured metals.…”
