Characterization of the three-dimensional supersonic flow for the MHD generator

Abstract: A numerical procedure based on a five-wave MHD model associated with non-ideal, low magnetic Reynolds number MHD flows was developed in the present study for analyzing the flow fields in the MHD generator of a MHD bypass scramjet. The numerical procedure is composed of an entropy conditioned scheme for solving the non-homogeneous Navier-Stokes equations, in conjunction with an SOR method for solving the elliptic equation governing the electrical potential. It was found that a separation would take place near t… Show more

“…Medium container is the sheet shape flexible bladder which is able to float on the surface of water, containers and flexible magnet composite in cascade way, Overall cavity is sealed and watertight, it is filling the conductive liquid MHD, An electrode is fixed at each end, The two electrodes are electrically connected to the magnetic fluid medium which is filled the liquid in the container, each electrodes is attached to wires, and each electrode peripheral is coated with insulation layer. [4] Flexible magnet container and the each side edge of media container fixed floating body which can float on the surface of water. The shape of permanent magnet is square, and each permanent magnets can vary with flexible magnet container which is relative adjacent permanent magnets and bend rotation plus or minus 90 degrees, the practical application, also can use six prisms of permanent magnets, in order to increase the whole device of flexible flexibility.…”
