Abstract: Disturbances in the balance between coagulation, anticoagulation and fibrinolysis may lead to thrombosis or haemorrhage. Simultaneous assessments of thrombin and plasmin facilitate overall understandings of pathological haemostasis, especially for thrombophilia.
