Abstract:Utilizing a multi-wire arc additive manufacturing process applied with high-frequency induction heating wire technology (MWAAM-HF) proposed in this study, Ti-48Al-2Cr alloy straight-walled component was fabricated. During the MWAAM-HF process, three types of wires melt simultaneously and transfer smoothly into the weld pool to form satisfactory component without discernible cracks.
