Characterization of Yugoslavian Erwinia amylovora Isolates Originating from Apple Trees Comparing with Other Strains of the Pathogen

Abstract: Pathogenicity, cultural and biochemical characteristics of the Erwinia amylovora strins of various origin were ivestigated. Six of them originated from apple (Yugoslavia and Canada), and four from pear and quince trees (England and Yugoslavia). No differences were observed in any property among the strains investigated.
