Abstract:A framework for electrolyte‐gated organic transistors (EGOTs) that unifies the view of interfacial capacitive coupling of electrolyte‐gated organic field‐effect transistors (EGOFETs) with the volumetric capacitive coupling in organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) is proposed.
