Charmonium resonances ine+eexclusive reactions around theψ(4415)region

Abstract: The Belle Collaboration has reported measurements of the exclusive cross section for the processes e þ e À ! D 0 D À þ and e þ e À ! D 0 D ÃÀ þ over the center-of-mass energy range 4.0 GeV to 5.0 GeV. The resonant structure of the cross section suggests that the reactions go through the c ð4415Þ resonance. We study these reactions using a constituent quark model which successfully describes the J PC ¼ 1 ÀÀ c " c sector and show that the c ð4415Þ resonance alone as intermediate state is not able to reproduce th… Show more

“…[44] (see references [45] and [46] for reviews). This model has recently been successfully applied to mesons containing heavy quarks, studying their spectra [47][48][49][50], their electromagnetic, weak and strong decays and reactions [47,[50][51][52][53][54][55], their coupling with meson-meson thresholds [56][57][58][59] and, lately, the phenomenological exploration of multiquark structures [60,61]. Therefore, this study entails the first step towards an unified description of heavy mesons and baryons using the same quark model, parameters and technical formalism presented in Refs.…”

“…This model successfully describes hadron phenomenology and hadronic reactions [46][47][48] and has recently been applied to (non)conventional hadrons containing heavy quarks (see, for instance, Refs. [49][50][51][52][53][54][55]).…”
