The possibility of earning both a generic bachelor's degree plus a recognised professional qualification/certification termed graduate professionalisation is a strategic bait for both potential students and their sponsors. This chapter explores how higher education providers use graduate professionalisation strategy (GPS) as a potent marketing scheme to attract prospective students and increase enrolment. The chapter also presents results of a web search approach to explore the use of GPS among selected leading Nigerian private universities in management sciences (Accounting, Banking and Finance, and Business Administration). Findings show that while graduate professionalisation strategy is a valid marketing strategy, its use in online spaces for marketing higher education is limited. With the pervasive use of and dependence on web-enabled advertising, the GPS could assume a significant online dimension in the development and dissemination of promotional materials.
