Abstract:The demand for debondable adhesives is becoming more
urgent, as
countries begin implementing policies to enforce circularity and recyclability.
Specifically in the construction industry, the switch from carbon
pool-depleting materials to carbon pool-replenishing materials demonstrates
the importance of circularity for the high-demand wood species used
to produce engineered wood products. To this end, a dual chemical
and physical debonding adhesive was prepared with the intent to debond
solid wood specimens. Th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
