“…In best of our knowledge powder microscopy and histological studies of T.patula florets was first time conducted in this studies. with respective zone of inhibition 17 mm, 16 mm, and 17mm.when compared with standard drug Amoxicillin .It was interesting to note that in our study T.patula extract showed same strong inhibition against E.coli which is in agreement with previous research study [14] No zone of inhibition was shown in case of S. flexanri. Generally gram negative bacteria shown less susceptibility towards plant extracts as compare to gram positive bacteria due to the fact that their outer wall is composed of lipopolysaccharides and lipoprotein which behaves resistant for antibacterial entry ( Table 2).…”

“…According to the results of the study in species of Tagetes patula, strong bioactivity was found in its essential oils against pathogenic test organisms, which is attributed to the presence of terpinolene, E-karyophene, Z-tagetone, E-tagetone, Caryophene oxide, and Germacrene D. Regarding its bioactivities of the species family of the genus Tagetes, strongto-mild antibacterial activity was found against strains of large-positive and largenegative bacteria tested in the study [4].…”

“…Essential oils from aromatic and medicinal plants are known to possess biological activity [2,3]. Essential oils are natural plant products that contain a complex mixture and therefore have multiple antimicrobial properties [4]. To be the constituents of the most important groups of raw materials for the food, pharmaceutical, perfumery, and related industries [5].…”

“…Se sabe que los aceites esenciales de plantas aromáticas y medicinales poseen actividad biológica [2,3]. Los aceites esenciales son productos vegetales naturales que contienen una mezcla compleja por tanto tienen múltiples propiedades antimicrobianas [4]. Siendo los constituyentes de los grupos de materias primas más importantes para la industria alimentaria, farmacéutica, de perfumería y afines [5].…”
