Chemical composition of essential oil of the Litsea cambodiana Lecomte and Litsea salmonea A. Chev. from Bach Ma national park

Abstract: 1 Trung tâm Bảo tồn Di tích Cố đô Huế, *congson73@gmail.com 2 Viện Sinh thái và Tài nguyên sinh vật, Viện Hàn lâm KH & CN Việt Nam 3 Trường Đại học Vinh TÓM TẮT: Hàm lượng tinh dầu từ lá Bời lời cam bốt (Litsea cambodiana) và cành loài Bời lời đỏ tươi (Litsea salmonea) ở Bạch Mã đạt 0,30% và 0,23% theo nguyên liệu tươi. Show more

“…Surprisingly, the abundance carvacrol (20.8%), cis - β -guaiene (6.4%) and khusimone (3.9%) presented in L balansae essential oil were conspicuously absent in all of the other oil samples. 15,16,17,18 The differences observed in the chemical classes and composition of Litsea essential oils can be attributed to a range of factors. These include the nature of the plant, its geographical location, the methods used for extraction, the specific parts of the plant utilized, the conditions under which it was cultivated, and the stage of maturity at which it was harvested.…”
