Abstract:Phytochemical study on the leaves of Fissistigma balansae led to the isolation of one new sesquiterpene glycoside, (3S,6E)‐3‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranosyl‐8‐hydroxy‐3,7,11‐trimethyldodeca‐1,6,10‐triene (1), and six known compounds, aromandendrane‐4β,10α‐diol (2), phloridzosid (3), astragalin (4), isoquercitrin (5), and rutin (6), acanthoside B (7). Their chemical structures were identified by HR‐ESI‐MS and NMR (1D and 2D) spectra. This is the first report of these compounds from F. balansae.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
