“…Without sodium hypochlorite, the phenol formations were not effected by the presence of sodium chloride (chloride ions) in this concentration range. As mentioned before, 14 interference by coexisting salts and solvents is understood in terms of quenching reactions of hydroxyl radicals by coexistences.
