Chemical preparation and XRD data for a new triphosphate CuNa3P3O10 and two cyclotriphosphates SrRbP3O9·3H2O and SrRbP3O9

Abstract: Methods of chemical preparation and XRD data are reported for a new triphosphate CuNa3P3O10 and two cyclotriphosphates SrRbP3O9·3H2O and SrRbP3O9. SrRbP3O9·3H2O was prepared by the method of ion-exchange resin, while CuNa3P3O10 and SrRbP3O9 were obtained by total dehydration of CuNa3P3O10·12H2O and SrRbP3O9·3H2O, respectively. CuNa3P3O10 crystallizes in the hexagonal system, with space group P-31c, Z=2, and the following unit-cell dimensions: a=b=7.022(1) Å, c=9.217(1) Å, M(20)=81, F(20)=117(0.003 419, 50), an… Show more

“…2) of a KBr pressed pellet containing the powdered sample of NiNa 3 P 3 O 10 ·12H 2 O was studied in the range 4000-400 cm -1 using a Perkin-Elmer IR 983G spectrophotometer. Band assignments for the fundamental modes, of valence and bending, of P 3 O 10 5-anions are presented in Table 2. The frequencies of the P 3 O 10 5-anion are assigned on the basis of the characteristic vibrations of the P-O-P bridge, PO 2 and PO 3 groups.…”

“…The sixth peak corresponds to the evolving of six water molecules at 359°C. The last peak is rather related to the melting point of the new anhydrous triphosphate NiNa 3 P 3 O 10 at 744°C 10 .…”

“…The first endothermic peak, well pronounced at 100 • C is due to the removal of water molecules in the title compound. The second exothermic peak is well pronounced at 191 • C and corresponds to the formation of the anhydrous triphosphate MgNa 3 P 3 O 10 [10]. The last peak is rather related to the melting point of MgNa 3 P 3 O 10 at 612 • C.…”

“…Therefore, the extracted copper foil will have some remaining Ni emulsion during the synthesis of CuO nanoflakes. A full pattern Rietveld fit with size [47] and strain-specific parameters [48] was applied to estimate the average crystallite size and microstrain (Figure 3). The instrument broadening was accounted for by measuring a Silicon Standard Si 640c.…”
