“…The photoreactive chemical group enhances the stability of DNA structures and DNA-AuNP crystals under DNA denaturing conditions by covalent crosslinking of DNA strands. [21][22][23][24][25] This feature is especially valuable for the encapsulation of proteins that are sensitive to environmental conditions, including the pH and ionic concentration.…”

“…Nucleic acid chemical modification technologies enriched the structure and function of DNA molecules and expanded the application of DNA materials in bioanalysis. 55 On the basis of the modification technologies, more kinds of nanoparticles have been introduced via DNA supramolecular assembly on nanoscale interfaces. For example, the modification of sulfhydryl group allows DNA to assemble on the interfaces of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) with high efficiency through thiolate−Au bonds.…”

“…LNAs have a very high affinity and excellent specificity for complementary DNA and RNA, and LNA oligonucleotides have been used as antisense molecules in vitro and in vivo. The therapeutic effect of LNA gene silencing has been verified in many experiments . Tassone et al designed an inhibitor that uses locked nucleic acid (LNA) technology to increase affinity to miR-221 and resistance to nucleases.…”

“…The therapeutic effect of LNA gene silencing has been verified in many experiments. 64 Tassone et al designed an inhibitor that uses locked nucleic acid (LNA) technology to increase affinity to miR-221 and resistance to nucleases. LNA-miR-221 inhibitors show good antitumor effects in multiple myeloma cell (MM) xenograft models, which supports LNA-miR-221 inhibitors as a promising anti-MM drug.…”
