Abstract:The chemiluminescent light-emission pathway of phenoxy-1,2-dioxetane luminophores attracts growing interest within the scientific community. Dioxetane probes undergoing rapid flash-type chemiexcitation exhibit higher detection sensitivity than those with a slow glow-type chemiexcitation rate, predominantly due to the higher number of photons produced within a given time interval. We discovered that dioxetanes fused to non-strained six-member rings, with hetero atoms or inductive electron-withdrawing groups, pr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
