Abstract:260ChemInform Abstract The silyldiazomethanes (III), prepard either by reaction of the silyl triflate (I) with diazomethane (II) or from the phosphoryl azide (IV) and the Grignard reagent (V), is coupled with the ketenes (VI) to give the title compounds (VII) stereoselectively as the Z-isomers. Treatment of (VII) with nucleophilic reagents such as benzyl alcohol (VIII), lithium alanate, or the silyl phosphites (XI) leads to the formation of the derivatives (IX), (X), and (XII).
