ChemInform Abstract: A Facile Strategy for the One‐Pot Multicomponent Synthesis of Spiro Dihydropyridine from Amines and Activated Alkynes.

Abstract: Activated Alkynes. -Isatin, activated methylene compounds, primary amines, and diesters (IV)/(VIII) are used for the preparation of multisubstituted spirocyclic pyridine systems (V) and (IX). Extension to ninhydrin and the quinoxaline scaffold (XV) is successful. The relative stereochemistries at the spiro centers are investigated. -(KIRUTHIKA, S. E.; LAKSHMI, N. V.; BANU, B.
