Abstract

A New Method for the Synthesis of 2,3-Aziridino-2,3dideoxyhexonamides and Their Conversion into 3-Amino-2,3dideoxyhexenoic Acids.-New 2,3-aziridino-2,3-dideoxyhexonamides (VII) and (IX) can be prepared from the lactones (I) and (VIII) via treatment of the mesylates with aqueous ammonia.
