Abstract

A Novel Sandwich-Type Europium-Substituted Germanomolybdate Linked with Coordination Cation [Cu(en)2] 2+ . -The structure of title compound (V) is determined by single crystal XRD (triclinic, space group P1, Z = 1). The structure contains sandwich-type [Eu(GeMo11O39)2] 13polyanions which are linked by [Cu(en)2] 2+ cations to form zigzag chains. (V) displays red fluorescence under excitation at 495 nm.
