A Sequential Synthesis of Substituted Furans from Aryl Alkynes and Ketones Involving a Cerium(IV) Ammonium Nitrate (CAN)-Mediated Oxidative Cyclization. -Starting ,-unsaturated ketones are prepared according to prior work.
