ChemInform Abstract: A Simple and Convenient One‐Pot Method for the Preparation of Heteroaryl‐2‐imidazoles from Nitriles.

Abstract

The efficient procedure is easily scalable and the work-up does not involve chromatography. The method is also applicable to benzonitriles with strong electron-withdrawing groups.
