ChemInform Abstract: Air‐Tolerant C—C Bond Formation via Organometallic Ruthenium Catalysis: Diverse Catalytic Pathways Involving (C5Me5)Ru or (C5H5)Ru Are Robust to Molecular Oxygen.
Abstract:Me 5 )Ru or (C 5 H 5 )Ru Are Robust to Molecular Oxygen. -Various ruthenium-catalyzed reactions such [2 + 2 +2] cycloadditions, C-allylations and decarboxylative insertions proceed in the presence of air with good results. In general, however, yields are somewhat lower than those obtained under inert conditions (to be continued). -(SEVERA, L.; VAVRA, J.; KOHOUTOVA, A.; CIZKOVA, M.; SALOVA, T.; HYVL, J.; SAMAN, D.; POHL, R.; ADRIAENSSENS, L.; TEPLY*, F.; Tetrahedron Lett. 50 (2009) 31, 4526-4528; Inst.
