Abstract: Aldehydes P 0170Aqueous-Biphasic Hydroformylation of Alkenes Promoted by "Weak" Surfactants. -The aqueous-biphasic hydroformylation of higher alkenes (II) and (VI) catalyzed by Rh/TPPTS is carried out in the presence of imidazolium, pyridinium and triethylammonium salts. High reaction rates are achieved with (I) provided that their alkyl chain is >C8.
