Abstract:Asymmetric Copper-Catalyzed Diels-Alder Reaction Revisited: Control of the Structure of Bis(oxazoline) Ligands. -Bisoxazolines bearing an ethanoanthracene backbone are reinvestigated as ligands in Cu-catalyzed Diels-Alder reactions. In contrast to previous results the present study reveals ligands with a chiral trans--substituted backbone to be superior than those possessing a meso-backbone. -(LE MAUX, P.; DORCET, V.; SIMONNEAUX*, G.; Tetrahedron 69 (2013) 38, 8291-8298, http://dx.
