ChemInform Abstract: Axial Ligand Anation and Aquation Reactions in Diplatinum(III) Complexes.

Abstract: The rate constants k, ‐k4 (see below) of the reactions of the diplatinum(III) complex (I) with halide ions have been determined using a biphasic analysis and pseudo‐first‐order conditions in halide ion at 25°C. In all cases, k, k; and k3 k4 and k, z k3 and kz z k4.
