1997carboxylic amides carboxylic amides (acyclic compounds) P 0320 -093Conversion of α-Anilino Alkenenitriles to Amides by Chemoselective Palladium-Catalyzed Arylations.-(E)-α-Anilino alkenenitriles (I) undergo Pd-catalyzed phenylations at the cyano group leading finally to the formation of amides and benzonitrile.
