131ChemInform Abstract The cycloalkanones (I) are coupled with the aldehydes (II) or primary alcohols (IV) in the presence of a zirconocene complex and nickel dichloride to produce the unsaturated ketones (III) or (V). This reaction is applied to the synthesis of dihydrojasmone (VIIa). (Yields only partly given).
