Abstract: Die Ketosäuren (I) cyclisieren sich beim Erhitzen mit Thionylchlorid in Methylenchlorid zu den Chlorphthaliden (II), die thermisch leicht zu den Nitromethylenphthaliden (III) dehydrohalogeniert werden.
