Abstract: Das aus N‐Propargylanilin (II) und 1‐Methylpiperidon (I) hergestellte Anilinopropinylpiperidol (III) cyclisiert beim Erhitzen in 10 %iger Schwefelsäure in Gegenwart von Quecksilber(II)‐sulfat zu einem Gemisch von 4‐Hydroxypiperidylchinolin (IV) und dessen Dihydroderivat (V).
